DS Match Icon Challenge

ds_flashfictionWelcome to the DS Match Team Whimsy & Team Reality icon challenge!
The way this challenge works is that you all create icons for the DS Match teams. Please refer to this post for this year's DS Match challenge guidelines. Remember this is a multipairing challenge, so it would be appropriate to have Team Reality and Team Whimsy icons featuring several different combinations of characters.
Icons can have text or not, just so long as they fit the theme of the team you're creating icons for.

Please post your icons in a comment below. You MUST label the comment's subject line with Team Whimsy or Team Reality. You MAY create icons for both teams, but if you do, PLEASE put them in separate (and correctly labeled) comments so that our heads don't explode. *g*
We also welcome general DS Match icons and Admin icons, too, if anyone feels inclined. You can have the credit for general icons go to the team of your choice -- just label your subject line.
In a couple of days, eta: ON JULY 7th, we'll post a poll for everyone to vote on which Team has the BEST ICONS.
FYI: Team sign-ups will be July 9th at noon, Chicago time. Mark your calendars. :)

Date: 2008-07-02 09:00 am (UTC)I mean, the whimsicality of the show starts off in the pilot with drowned caribou and the premise of a Mountie on the trail of the killers of his father getting posted in Chicago and acting as a liason to the Chicago police department. It gets more whimsical with the addition of a deaf, lip-reading, half-wolf, dead!Bob and the cases Ray and Fraser get involved in.
I guess, that is why the show is my happy place where I can escape reality for a bit.

What, I didn't sound like a Whimsy person, did I? :) I may love the magical realism, but as a writer, I am strictly a realist. No matter how cracky the premise I start with, my brain just has to work out ways it can be "real" (given that "reality" in dS is a bit...flexible). Granted, this would fit with either team, but I think my style really suits Team Reality. :)
(Reality doesn't mean unhappiness, though! dS is my happy place, too.)
