WOW! This is such an incredible story. I don't know if I have the words to adequately describe how much I adore it. From the Selkie myth to the poetry to the banter between Fraser and Ray, and the slow build, it's all just about perfect.

But what struck me the most about this story was the intimacy of it and the longing. Oh...the longing. It made my heart ache for Fraser.

And this:
Siouxsie (Fraser was careful to spell it properly in his head, because while he had never heard of the singer or her music, the dratted dog would ignore him completely if he called her 'Susie')
So very Fraser. It really made me laugh so hard.

There were numerous other bits of the story that made me laugh out loud, if I were to write them all down, I'd be here all night.

Excellent...just excellent.
