DS Match Results!!!

ds_team_root! All the wonderful reccers playing in the DS Match Recvitational at ds_recsredux! The artists who provided icons, banners, and vids to brighten up the challenge! Our fabulous backup writers for being on call in case of emergency. And extra-special thanks to malnpudl, who came through when a backup was needed. DS Match owes its success to all of you!
eta: Oops, one more! Many, many thanks torruthlessly for designing, building and auditing our super-whizzy scoring-crunching spreadsheet. Yay!
One quick note on scoring: we averaged the genre vote for each Reality story, and then averaged the averages. Then we did the same for the quality vote, and added the two together. Whimsy: rinse, repeat. Since the voting range was 1-9 in each category, this means scores are out of 18.
And the final results are:
Team Reality: 15.69
Team Whimsy: 16.06
Congratulations to TEAM WHIMSY!
And kudos to Team Reality, because a third of a point's difference is nothing to sneeze at. Yay Team Reality!
All that remains is for the Team Members to collect their 1st and 2nd place banners and icons made for DS Match 2 by the lovelysouncanadian!

Those of you with long stories that were uploaded to the website for the duration of the match, please let us know the new address for your story (whether LJ, archive, or your website) and we'll replace the links as soon as we can.
