... I'm under the limit. But I just couldn't pad it, so ...

About the Author: Kathleen Fraser-Kowalski is a wilderness guide and teacher in her home town of Inuvik, NT. She is not married, since no-one as yet has wanted to take on her family of fourteen dogs. Her greatest influences, she says, were her parents, RCMP Sergeant Benton Fraser (ret.) and Ray Kowalski; who taught her that anything is possible with perseverance, and that clean sparkplugs are happy sparkplugs. Never Follow a Man Off a Cliff is her first novel.

Wow! What a great idea. And even if there wasn't the inclusion of Fraser and Ray, you could still see a bit of their influence on Kathleen. Neat!

Oh, and being the daughter of a mechanic, I have to agree that clean sparkplugs are happy sparkplugs. In fact, that's a pretty good metaphor for life, really.

hooray!

I wonder how she came up with the title of her first novel? Probably from listening to Ray talk of his adventures with Fraser. This needs no padding at. Love it!

This is great! short and sweet and I have my own little backstory for Fraser-Kowalski family percolating in my head.

I am so impressed by all the creative ways people are answering this challenge. This was wonderful, short but perfect, saying so much in just a few words. I love the title of her book, I think I'd love to read it!

Happy Belated Birthday!

Hee. Adorable, m'dear...and I join the legions of fans who want to read that novel (I wonder if Kathleen's had some visitations from Grandpa Fraser *g*).

And? I already sang the Happy Birthday song to you. Any else will have to wait. :)

Smooch.
