Two in a row?
Jun. 22nd, 2003 12:25 pmOn my way to work, had to post this first.
"Canadian Consulate, Consulat du Canada, how may I help you?"
"Turnbull?"
She heard a gasp from the other end, then a reverent, "Miss Vecchio?"
"Yeah, it's me. Listen, you got any idea what Fraser's middle name is?"
"Constable Fraser?"
She rolled her eyes. "Yeah. Benton Fraser. The constable."
"Actually, he has two, Miss Vecchio. Andrew and Robert."
"Okay, thanks." She hung up the phone on his reply and turned back to her computer. After a swift glance around for prying eyes, she opened PhotoShop again and went back to work. It was hard work to fit "Benton Andrew Robert Fraser" in the space intended for it, but sheesh, "Francesca Angelica Vecchio" was almost as bad. She hesitated over the date, and then chose one at random, but far enough into the future that it was ... possible.
She regarded the page for a moment, then added three more doves, four more roses, and a pair of wedding bands tied with a ribbon. Satisfied with her work at last, she saved it, then closed out the program. Someday, she thought. Someday.

Date: 2003-06-22 12:55 pm (UTC)Still trying to figure out where "Renfield" came from. That's gotta be HIS middle name. I always thought Turnbull was more of a "Dirk."

Date: 2003-06-22 03:33 pm (UTC)Heather, one of whose middle names in Penrose. But that's a passed-down family name that all the kids get.

Date: 2003-06-23 03:39 am (UTC)As for B.A.R.F., I figured there must be some reason he doesn't acknowledge a middle name...

Date: 2003-06-22 10:49 pm (UTC)I'm sure there are lots of important police things Frannie should be doing while she's creating sappy collages instead. But who am I to throw stones? *G*
I didn't notice the initials until I read the comments, but now I'm snickering. *G*

I bet he never got anything monogrammed. And I'm sure it's all Bob's fault ... somehow.
