Much gratitiude and many kudos to mondschein1 for the above-and-beyond beta work she did on this story. I ended up with a story twice as long as anticipated and with an extensive sex scene, which mondeshcien courageously tackled. Consistency in punctuation style, advice on voice and tone, and grammar smoothing are all due to her efforts - any goofball mistakes left are purely my own.

This thing is ridiculously over word count.
