From the brilliant queue, aka qe2: What about a Challenge challenge? All three of the major men in this series are demonstrably competitive, IMO. With themselves as well as with one another, which could be interesting. And most of the secondary characters have equally strong senses of their own rightness. How true!

So queue's basically challenging you to challenge THEM, to give them a challenge, have them challenge each other. Throw down that gauntlet, baby!

Sorry, yes, you did! I should have said! But by putting "Title, by Author" in the subject line, it saves me literally just OODLES of time. (Right now I'm cutting the title and just keeping it "by Author" because I don't want to discourage people from posting less formal pieces of work, drabbles or other short works that may not have titles. )
