Title: On the seizing of a low moment.
Category: Gen.
Rating: G.
Length: 100 words
Summary: Dief should be ashamed of himself.

"You ought to be ashamed of yourself, trying to take advantage of me when I'm in this state," Ray said, slipping one hand under the table to give Dief's nose a scratch.

The wolf groaned in pleasure, settling his muzzle deeper into Ray's knee. After a moment of contentment, Dief nosed at the corner of the paper wrapper that hung off the side of the table.

"Yeah, yeah." Ray picked the whole wrapper up, sandwich and all, and dropped it to the floor, where Dief snapped it up in two quick bites. "At least one of us should be happy."

Heh, that's so typical of Dief! And I have every faith that he'll help the idiotic humans straighen out whatever mess they've gotten themselves into this time...as soon as he's eaten the sandwich. At least Dief has his priorities straight. *pets him*
