Back with a sheep!

I'm kind of rusty at this, so I apologize in advance if I screwed anything up. But I've been chewing for the last week on the idea of what counts as a miracle in the due South universe. Probably still not what the challenge originator was thinking, but what the heck.

Miracles, G, 945 words (give or take) )

Shoe!

Okay, technically I missed the deadline, but I figure if Ces hasn't posted it yet...

Oh dear, with this warning no one will read it. Here goes: Kowalski/Stella, Vecchio/Stella. There is no gay sex in here at ALL! I'm as appalled as the rest of you. I'd say... R rated. If that. PG-13, if your 13-year-olds are anything like I was at 13. 392 words. Created by writing until Stella was done talking to me, then ruthlessly cutting 75% of it, so if it feels disjointed that would explain it. Actually, let me know; I'm still working on the fine line between killing all your darlings and destroying the flow of a piece.

My God, there's not even any Fraser! )

Anything you can do, I can do better

Just a little scribbling before I go do productive things. About 400 words.

There's something out there! I can't resist...

743 words. I thought about making this a drabble, but, hell. I've used almost every challenge so far as an excuse to write porn, how could I resist this one? I had a title for it about halfway through, but I've forgotten it. Ah! Right.

These dreams go on when I close my eyes... )

Well, since I finally have a bit of time again, why don't I throw my hat in? Or, return my hat to the ring. Or something. Look! Sheep!

About 430 words. Is it NC-17? Does the common guernsey moo? I'm not really sure what prompted this.

Niceties

I'm not sure of the exact wordcount, but I think I've got it under a thousand. God, I hope nobody's making any assumptions about my psyche on the basis of these posts.

Please, Bryan Adams, get out of my head!

590 words! I'm getting better at, well, not going on so long. If you don't like Stella, I suggest you move along, there's nothing to see here. NC-17, I think.

Two in one challenge. I think that's a record. Wow, only 481 words, even though it took forever. Pretty damn schmoopy by my standards, but... what the hell.

While You Were Out II

I don't have very many original ideas, I'm afraid. So here's a complete rehash of my last story. 656 words. Man, bethbethbeth beat me to it! Plus totally showed me up in the formatting department. So a little last-minute editing...

I could have sworn she said, "Sheep"

Fluff, but I got really pouty about missing last week's challenge, even if I did have a good excuse. 909 words, I think. But it's maybe PG. I really need to get my touch back.

Dedicated to the person who most recently reminded me of the concept of making out like teenagers.

It's curtains for you, mister

I'm not sure how well this counts, but curtains, it turns out, just aren't that evocative for me, except in this context. Although maybe it doesn't relate to curtains at all. Oh, well, heck, judge for yourselves.

Run for your lives! Sheep!

This was supposed to be really short. So in fact it ended up at 854 words. I have other things to do! Places to go! People to meet! But Fraser just keeps talking...

NC-17, though probably we can all safely assume that by now.

Oh, and this isn't particularly angsty. I'm still thinking about that.

...and the sheep are nervous

(Having mis-posted this twice, once through livejournal's problems and once through my own stupidity, I'm trying it one. more. time.)

Okay, I'm not terribly impressed with it, but I don't think it's going to get any better. Plus I did a thorough edit twice. The first time it went up by 50 words, the next time it went just below where it was originally, so we've got 1,073. I'll do better next time!

A habitual sheep.

Okay, I actually kind of liked this one, which probably means it's crap. But I have to post it now, because last time I went back and edited it went up another hundred words. Oh, uh, 937. I'm getting better! Well. Shorter, anyway.

Yeah, okay, I'm a sheep...

Hmm. I don't really like it, but I wrote it, and I hate spending time on something that nobody sees. So if you're looking for something to read before something else, because you like to save the best for last? Yeah, read this one first.

And for something I really shouldn't have been doing but allowed myself to do because I had some time to kill, this sucker got long...
