More for the amnesty challenge, because I just can't stop myself. This is just a silly bit of pre-adolescent humiliation, but oh so much fun.

This came to me when I thought about another story in which I speculate on Fraser's peculiar grasp of English (I have the same difficulties speaking German, although it is my mother tongue, I think English and some idioms just make no sense in German) This is a weird little story that was supposed to be about Halloween but is more about masks and costumes and the armor we wear.

Because sometimes people will surprise you with their reaction. (I've been getting the proverbial shrug from everyone I came out to, including my brother who said we can go looking for girls together) Anticlimactic is the word here (and yes, sadly there's no climaxing of any kind, but a lot of schmoop)

Remember that story with the movies? You all liked Lizzy so much and wanted more of her. Remember that veiled reference to nightmares and her real parents? Lizzy remembers. She said this needs to be told, or else she'll never get over it. Lizzy also went through a lot of counseling after the events in this fic...

This is part of Lizzy's bigger, lighter story I'm working on. Don't worry, we all already know how it ends.

This is a 45-minutes, after-midnight kind of fic. It happened because I saw "Dead Men Don't Throw Rice" for the first time. All mistakes are mine, the plane crash is something I heard in school a long time ago, Ray and Frase are having hot monkey sex in all the scenes they don't show on television and pigs can fly. (one of the above statements is not like the others in such a way as it isn't true. Take your pick ;)

Movie night

Just when I thought I'd send them to Toronto for the film festival, to watch German movies and Sci-Fi shockers, something else intrudes. Mainly, "Bowling for Columbine" which blew me away. So I wanted to make them watch it, which meant Future-Fic, and Future-Fic inevitably led to the question of whether or not they would be watching *that* movie with their kids. Which turned into movie night with Lizzy, who, I might add, is my new favorite teenager. This is what you get when your mind takes a (unexpected) left turn.

This is the epitome of suck - and not the good kind either - but a challenge needs to be answered. I'm sorry for the weirdness, sadness and over-all badness of the piece, but my regular betas are rather un-fond of Due South.

I have no excuse for this, except that I wanted to write DS and the image wouldn't leave my head. Then I went on because I couldn't stomach the ending. Just under a thousand words and really ugly angst with really fluffy fluff to make up for it. It's like one of those modern paintings, except a lot less artsy.

Also, hi, I'm Suaine, and newly addicted to Due South and Ray Kowalski.
