By the way, the idea has no connection to the fact I was going to buy clamps. In case you're wondering.

So I'm, uh, way out of practice with the whole "writing due South" thing, although every time I write Kowalski, I end up researching cars and drinking beer. (Little shaky, but muy predictable. Heh.)
