and even though I think this is crap, I couldn't let a challenge go by without submitting something. Coughed this up last night since my rehearsal got cancelled because my pianist was sick....

Longer than usual - 1150 words. Sorry. As for the content, believe me when I tell you I did not set out to write this, or anything like this.

Facade )

Almost last minute here, and really over the limit (1500 words), but hell, I thought I'd never even get it written, so I think I'm doing pretty good.

It's a drabble. It's silly. But yay! I finally thought of something for this challenge.

You wanted a switch, you get a switch....

Okay, it's 1227 words or thereabout. Considering that I cut it down from nearly 1600 on the first draft, that's pretty reasonable, right?

Kind of two 180's here, though it's WAY over the limit....*sigh*.

Here I am again, speaking for Ces-- rather like one of the minor prophets, only without the locusts.

::ahem::

The 180 Degrees Challenge.
This one comes to us from Shay, who wrote, "How about people behaving in
the opposite way you'd imagine them behaving? A '180 degrees of separation'
challenge." So!--your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to
construct a story where one character plausibly--plausibly, mind
you! this isn't the Badfic Challenge or the Crap Characterization
Challenge, ok? Those are for later!--acts like or does something strongly
associated with another character. (So have Fraser do something RayKish.
Have Ray K do something Ray Vecchioish. Have Frannie do something
Welshish. Have Stella be Fraserish. )

It's Sunday by my watch which I'm not wearing because hopefully I'm on a
beach somewhere. Laura's wearing my figurative watch, which says Sunday.
Stories are due next Sunday before midnight.
