It's a TKO on the Fraser Whompin' Challenge, kids; the 18 entries can be found archived here.

New challenge coming right up.

Okay, really, honestly, racing in at way the hell past the last second and dear lord, tell me to keep my mouth shut the next time I promise to finish something in a certain amount of time, okay? Many thanks to SnowFlake, my ever-patient beta, for flying through this one with me (any mistakes are my own; she went over this with a fine-tooth comb), and huge, major thanks to Speranza for holding this damn thing up for me.

4,086 words because I have zero control over Ray and Fraser.

The Fraser whomping challenge was supposed to have been up last Friday and I haven’t even started! Okay…it’s 9:58 now…can I get this in before Ces closes up shop?

Seeing Red )

There. A bit of screwball h/c, and under the limit. :)

I beg forgiveness for the delay - it has been one of the wierdest weeks. Anyway, here is my response to the “Whomping Fraser” Challenge. Many of the hurts are emotional, and it does have some similarity with sihaya black’s story, but I have her permission to submit this one anyway. It’s 2173 words and kind of moody...

A thousand thanks to my editing Empress [livejournal.com profile] rhyo who got this first and had to deal with all my usual punctiation issues. She also read outside of her fandom for me, which can be confusing I'm sure (So why doesn't she just come on over to DS! Come on, lady! We're all nice!) So thank you again.

I've asked questions and tortured you people for weeks now, but [livejournal.com profile] kassrachel and [livejournal.com profile] shayheyred went above and beyond the call of duty in helping me beta this all morning long. Especially Shay, who is probably just one email away from changing her address and pretending to not speak the language if she sees my name pop up in her inbox again. So thank you both.

Gen story, word count at 1377 (which might just be the closest I've ever gotten to any 1000 word limit in any group, ever)

Many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] rhyo and [livejournal.com profile] brooklinegirl for edits and beta. A little over the word limit (2,687 to be exact) but I figure, I didn't do either of the last two challenges so this makes up for it. Right?

Post MoTB but pre CoTW. No real spoliers.

Because, really. Can you ever have enough Fraser whomping?

Thank you to [livejournal.com profile] liviapenn for read-through. About 400 words.

Herein please find my (rather NC-17) contribution to the Fraser-whomping challenge. Many, many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] sihayab for the beta, which improved this tremendously. It ran a bit over-long, but hopefully you'll enjoy it anyway! 1438 words )

because reading her comments made me come up with this. My apologies if it's rather derivative...

675 words of post-MotB remembrances of Fraser-whomping.

this is just a small piece of fluff playing off of Ray's tendancy to threaten to kick people in the head... no real damage done to the Mountie!

A festival o' sap, weighing in at 365 words, all of which have been given the Seal of Approval by my darling [livejournal.com profile] kassrachel. Thanks, hon!

Oy. Someday I will get this stuff right. Sometime. When I do, bam, they'll change it. Until then, I will try to post this bad boy again. Wish me luck.

Poke Your Eye Out )

Hope that worked. Grrrrr.

This one was technically suggested by [livejournal.com profile] resonant8 but inspired by a story by [livejournal.com profile] kormantic where the two Rays throw Fraser out a window (in the nicest possible way, of course.) Hence, the art of "Fraser-whomping" was born.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it? Whomp Fraser. Anything from the gentlest of friendly punches to the shoulder to relatively serious hurt/comfort will be accepted. (Try to stay within or near-within the violence parameters of the show, which does give us a couple of bad beatings but doesn't go into horror [ < snark > or religious < /snark >] movie territory, ok?)

It's Friday by my watch; stories will be due next Friday at midnight. (Note icon of imminent whomping!! *g*)
